The story of Fig Tree Web Design is rooted in my prior work with my town's economic development foundation. At the time, I worked hands-on with the owners of local small businesses, and on the side was becoming the owner of a small business myself. As I explored the challenges of starting and maintaining a successful business both first hand and through the experiences of my community, I recognized a road block time and time again: you never have as much money or time as you need.
